What is Metabolic Balance®?

Metabolic Balance® is a customised nutritional plan specifically designed for you according to your body’s unique nutritional needs. Using the results from your blood sample together with information on your medical history and personal likes and dislikes, a nutrition plan is developed for you listing the foods that are right for balancing your metabolism.

The plan is very specific even down to the quantities and time of day that it is best to eat. It is very easy to follow and all the recommended foods are normal, wholesome foods that are readily available in your local supermarket . The foods are chosen for their affect on your hormonal system rather than their calorie content or fat, protein and carbohydrate ratio.

12 Week Body Reset - The Process

  • 1. DISCOVER

    We have a chat online to get clear on your current health/weight and the outcome that you would like after completing the Metabolic Balance® programme whether that is an improvement in a health condition or weight loss. I am here to answer any questions you may have.

  • 2. ENROL

    If you decide to go ahead we can get started with the process of arranging for a blood test, completing the intake form and deciding on a start date that fits in with your diary. We also like to take a ‘before’ photo and take some key measurements so we can track your progress.

  • 3. PREPARE

    When your blood results are back and your personalised Metabolic Balance® plan is available we meet online to go through the first 2 phases and the 8 Principles of Metabolic Balance® so that you are ready to start the programme on a date that suits you.

  • 4. DETOX

    Phase 1 of the Metabolic Balance® plan is a 2 day detox to cleanse your body and ease you into the program. There are a couple of different detox options to choose from. In this phase and in all phases you can reach out to me by email with any questions.

  • 5. TRANSITION

    Phase 2 is a transition or adjustment phase as your metabolism starts to adjust and you learn to implement the new habits and listen to your body’s signals. We meet up towards the end of this phase to review your progress and prepare for phase 3.

  • 6. PROGRESS

    Phase 3 doesn’t have a set time limit as everyone is different and it will take different times to reach your goal. You have more foods on your plan than in the transition phase and I support you with recipes, tips and guidance and most of all motivation.

  • 7 MAINTENANCE

    As you come closer to achieving your desired weight or other health goal we turn our attention to the longer term and how to maintain your progress. By this time most people have become much more in tune with their body. They intuitively listen and trust signals from the body.

  • 8 RESOURCES

    You will have a login to the online Metabolic Balance® programme on my website which has recipes and other resources to help you along your journey.

  • 9. SUPPORT

    My role as a Metabolic Balance® coach is to give you support and guidance. We have a total of 6 online sessions together to track progress and plan ahead. Support is also available by email. The plan can be extended to 24 weeks on request.
